Peach was seen being dumped out of a car near a major intersection in Mesa. A few kind souls scrambled to catch Peach and the other dogs who were now frantically running the streets. They managed to catch Peach and her friend, Poptart, while the remainder of the dogs ran into traffic after the vehicle that dumped them.

We are so grateful to these rescuers who saved Peach and Poptart, and we were honored to welcome these girls into the Paw Placement family.

Peach is just as sweet as her name implies. She is a cuddler and lover, but also likes to romp and play with her doggie friends. She is friendly, eager to please and affectionate. Peach is clearly largely dachshund, perhaps mixed with something else. She has the short legs and long body of a doxie, as well as the long muzzle and the gorgeous black and tan coloring. Peach is working on her crate and house training in her foster home, and is doing extremely well. As with all young puppies, she'll require lots of continued training in her forever home including crate, house and potty training, and continued socialization.
