Pepe Le Pew and his gang of goofy siblings came to Paw Placement via a rescuer in Page, AZ. They, like so many before them, were left in a box at the edge of the reservation at just days old. Luckily for these babies, some kind souls stepped in and got them started on their path to happily ever after.
Pepe looks very much like a border collie and cattle dog mix, so we guess he'll be a medium (40-60 pounds) sized dog. Of course, without knowing either parent, there is no guarantee regarding either breed or size.
Pepe is a smart and outgoing young puppy. He is energetic and playful, spunky and active, affectionate and friendly. Pepe is also a working breed dog, so he is looking for a home that understands what this means and is ready to provide an appropriate lifestyle. Pepe will need structure, discipline and exercise first and foremost in his life, in order to ensure he grows into a well balanced adult dog. Pepe requires a home with a yard; apartments are not appropriate for this breed.
A note from Pepe's foster mom: Pepé is the biggest people-pup in the group, he’ll whimper when he sees you because he’s so excited, he stares into your eyes, he’s always the first one to come greet me and he’s always enthusiastic about it (he runs and crashes his whole body into me, like he hasn’t seen me in years) every time I call him over, he wags his tail the hardest, loves to play in the pool with toys, he was a bit intimated by the other pups not in his litter (he took refuge between my legs when I first introduced) but he got over it pretty quick! When he does want to play with the other pups, he’s very persistent.
