Terrier / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female (spayed)
Kam came to us as a stray after a search for potential owners proved fruitless. She's a young girl, we guess 9-12 months, and is full of fun energy and playfulness! Kam loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs, and we'd prefer to place her in a home with a doggie playmate or two. Kam also loves to chew on natural chews and nylabone type bones, and doing so helped her to learn to love her crate in her foster home. Kam is both crate and house trained in her foster, and her new family will need to continue with this structure to maintain that training. Kam can be slow to warm up to new people, especially in her home, but some time spent allowing her to be 'invisible' while offering some food or play, and she's ready to be your BFF. We are unsure of her breed. We've guessed daschund because of her long and low body, perhaps combined with some non-shedding breed to give her the rough coat that barely sheds. She could also be a terrier mix with her scruffy coat. She'll likely need grooming every 3 months or so to clean up her feet and sanitary area. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. We will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application. More about KamGood with Dogs, Good with Kids, Good with Adults
