Manchester Terrier/Corgi mix

This little girl is such a cutie. Paw Placement found little Lainie shivering in Kennel number 330 at the East Side Pound. The minute she caught our eye, she proceeded to plead her case through puppy dog kisses and gentle whines. "Please," she said in doggy talk, "I am scared here. I want to go with you. I have so much love to give." Lainie didn't have to talk for long before we had her on a leash and we high-tailed it into foster care. Lainie's foster mom reports that she gets along with other dogs and that she really bonds with her favorite human. She and her foster-brother often compete for mom's attention and affections. While she does get along with other dogs, this gal definitely likes to be in charge and therefore, may do better as an only dog. She will curl up right next to you and will put her head in your lap and give lots of doggie kisses if you like! Lainie is also a runner! So, take care with open doors. She is completely housebroken and is great with kids. Until Lainie feels safe, she will likely elicit signs of mild separation anxiety. She will need a lot of love to realize that she will never see the inside of a kill-shelter again!
