Chesapeake Bay Retriever

Dakota Sioux is named after the state of North Dakota and the University of North Dakota the Fighting Sioux. Her mother is a beautiful gentle hunting dog and her father comes from a strong champion line of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Dakota has lived in one household with another dog and a cat. She loves children and loves adults. She needs a lot of love and attention. She is very playful and does not know that she is a big dog. She is submissive and coy around other animals and does not like loud voices. Dakota loves to swim. She will throw her toy into the pool herself, take a giant leap and splash into the water. She will swim and swim for hours without getting out. Dakota needs a loving family that will play with her, walk with her, run with her and take her to water. She will bark to protect her loved ones and snuggle with you when its time to sleep.
