Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female : : Senior Tortise-shell
Patches huddled in her litter box at the Animal Care & Control facility. She was alone in her kennel and very frightened. All I saw were two huge eyes peering over the rim of the box- Patches was trying to make herself as small as possible -- which looked so pitiful considering she was a tiny bag of bones already. Her terror increased when I put her in a carrier and brought her to foster care where she initially trembled in fear when held by her foster mom. I worried about little Patches until I received a phone call from her foster mom. Patches quickly came out of shell. Within days, Patches settled into her foster home and flourished under the love and attention she received. Today she is a bright eyed happy cat who will be a wonderful addition to almost any home setting.
