Chai (pronounced "Ky" like "sky") and her brother, Mocha (a.k.a. Mo) were rescued from a dumpster about two months ago. At the time, they were emaciated, scared, dirty and not socialized at all. Now they are thriving, healthy and very loving. Both of them enjoy playing with other felines and are very playful with each other. IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF THEY COULD GO TO THE SAME HOME. Chai is much more relaxed than Mocha but still requires patience. She will tolerate being held but prefers loving on her level. She is a lap cat and is as loveable as can be -- she will roll over so that her tummy can be scratched. And if there are toy mice around, Chai becomes quite the playful huntress. Both Mocha and Chai need a human who is patient, understanding, kind and tolerant. Both kitties did not begin their little lives under the best circumstances (they were LITERALLY thrown away) -- now both deserve to find a home so that they may give love and receive plenty in return. |
