Three frightened kittens were found in a backyard and turned into Animal Care & Control. These babies had never known human kindness and shrank from the large hands that picked them up. An AC&C employee saw the hissy kittens and knew they would be euthanized because they were not friendly. So, she called Paw Placement and asked for help. "These kittens are so young," she said, "If someone was gentle with them, I know they will become friendly." The employee was right! Within hours of human/kitten interaction, each of the three kittens went from trembling little furballs to happy cats, purring when pet. Flounder was the first kittens to discover how much he LOVES having his chin scratched. It did not take little Flounder long to learn the pleasure of belly rubs and the excitement of a dancing feather toy. He is very gregarious and is as sweet as sweet can be! Flounder will do well is many home settings -- however, we ask that he go to a home where all humans are old enough to have impulse control.
