Koko and her brother, Max, are large dogs, weighing about 80 lbs a piece. They need a fenced yard (6 ft block) because they are very athletic. Koko is very sweet. She understands most basic commands (sit, stay, down, shake, etc.) She is ok in a kennel and housetrained, but is best outside. She likes chasing birds, watching tv, and romping with Max. Koko's biggest problem is food. She is a bit chunky, and would be even bigger if her diet was unmoderated. Koko is a lover, and always seems starved for attention. She also doesn't seem to like felines but she would be great with kids. Her teeth are clean, no health problems to report, heartworm-free, and all shots are current. Max is super gentle, calm, and has the best facial expressions. He also understands basic commands. For whatever reason, he decided he didn't like kennels anymore and now absolutely refuses to go near one. He is housetrained, and loves sleeping next to the bed at night. He is a powerful dog, and can be rough if he is prompted - but his general demeanor is very calm. Max doesn't seem to care about cats, or other dogs as much as Koko. She is more protective. Max is in perfect health, trim, clean teeth, heartworm-free and all shots are current. I know it's a tall order, but these two dogs are inseparable. They calm each other down, and for all intents and purposes, they are like a married couple. I sincerely believe that any prospective owner would find them more manageable as a couple. They love to romp and explore, run, and bask in the sun. At the end of it all, they also love coming inside for a calm afternoon and family time with their owners. A home that afforded them a large yard, yet didn't require them to be exclusively outside, would be their ideal new palace.
