What happens when you are the last kitten left in a litter where the humans have unspayed cats? Well, for me, it meant that I was left by myself, tiny and frightened, on a shelf at PETsMART. That's how Paw Placement found me! However, not all kittens are so lucky. During kitten season, baby cats are abandoned by humans all over the Valley. Some of us are left outside in the brutal summer sun, others are placed on busy streets while many more are left at Animal Care & Control facilities where most are euthanized. So many people do not alter their animals because they want their children to experience the miracle ot birth. Well- rent a video about it then. A more important lesson would be to take children - or anyone for that matter - to the kill shelters and view what happens when there are so many animals and too few responsible humans in the world. Ah well -- at least I am safe. I am a very friendly kitten who will flourish in any home setting -- my only request is that all humans in the home be old enough to have impulse control. |
