Sandy sat in a pound in New Mexico with her seven newborn puppies. They literally had four days before all were scheduled to be euthanized. Many staff members and volunteers did what they could to find them help in order to save their lives. Then an email then came through from a Paw Placement volunteer. We then sent it out to our entire volunteer base, and found many great volunteers ready to foster this mom and her pups. Two days later, Doc Mary from New Mexico drove all of them to Phoenix to start their new lives. Sandy is such a sweet and loving girl. Though she didn't know me, I approached her babies and she welcomed me and smothered me with kisses. She is such a beautiful girl!! She has been saved from an early death and now deserves to be spoiled for the rest of her years. Sandy is still very much a puppy and will need all of the basic obedience training and lots of structure.
