At nine years old, Pickles doesn't realize she's no longer a kitten! This sweet, intelligent girl loves to play with cat toys and enjoys being with her favorite people. Pickles is an alpha-cat who would do best in a home with a non-dominant male cat or with a gentle canine companion (proper introduction is necessary). Fellow female felines are not her cup of tea. She likes to cover her food dish with a towel, perhaps because she feels a need to "protect" it. Despite her finicky social habits, Pickles would love the companionship and security of a kind human or a family with whom she could spend the rest of her life. Although Pickles is still quite active, older cats are generally mellower than their kitten counterparts, plus they know the ropes of kitty manners, like proper litter-box use. Most importantly, they understand the value of quality time with their people.
