Our Little Freckles, named because of her many spots, had been fed by an elderly lady in her backyard. Unfortunately, the old lady became ill and contacted Altered Tails (a spay/neuter facility) to help because she didn't want to see Freckles without a guardian angel. Freckles is a sweet, funny girl who has considerably warmed up to her people since being rescued in December. Despite her uncertain past, she's begun greeting her favorite person when she sees her coming through the door. She still needs the freedom to define her space and will let you know if she's overwhelmed, sometimes by swatting - but never with her claws extended. This behavior will likely subside once Freckles knows she's in a secure, permanent home. Freckles would do best with a mellow, quiet family that has plenty of time to lavish affection and attention on her. Although she likes her alone-time, Freckles will warm up to her people when given plenty of patience and understanding. Now Freckles has a new guardian angel at Paw Placement.
