Dalmatian/Pointer Mix

Meet Petie, a 1.5 year-old super-adorable, all around lovable guy. He LOVES kids, and really really likes to swim and play! He would really like to have other dogs as playmates, and to be with a loving family . He does fine with other dogs, and cats too. Petie is a tenderheart. He is somewhat afraid of men, especially if they have deep and/or loud voices, but we are trying to help him with that. He is such a silly-heart also. He loves to play ball or tug-of-war with the other dogs, and when he runs to fetch a toy, he almost hops and pounces on it. He is all legs, which seems to make him quite clumsy, but it is an endearing quality. He does like to talk to you a lot, but he is not a barker; it's just kind of a mix between a whine and a vocal yawn. He just makes us laugh all the time with his silliness and antics. He loves to gallop around the yard and play "keep away" from his other doggie siblings. He is potty trained and crate trained. In fact, he loves his crate; especially at bedtime. He is a chewer so plenty of rawhides, sticks, safe doggie toys and the like will definitely keep him from chewing on things that he should not. He would do great with an active family that would include him in everything they do. He thrives on human contact and attention. He melts when you scratch his ears and rub his tummy. All in all, Petey is a very lovable guy.
