Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female : : Senior Black & White
Poor Valerie spent a night stuck in a tree when the temperatures were near freezing. A good Samaritan heard a kitten crying at night, but could not find her. Early the next morning, the cries started again - and when she looked up, she saw a tiny fluff of black and white with huge green eyes staring down at her. Her teenage son was sent up the tree to get poor little Valerie. She has been purring and snuggling up to us ever since. Valerie has a trilling meow and is 100% kitten...she plays, climbs, and leaps fearlessly. But when I appear, she scrambles on over demanding attention. This little girl was the result of an unspayed neighborhood cat whose owners think it is fine to let the kittens run free once they are old enough to fend for themselves. A two-pound kitten needs care and love, and that is what little Valerie is seeking. She needs a responsible family who will keep her safe, warm, and well-fed so that she will never again have to run loose or spend another long, cold night stuck in a tree.
