Cairn/Border Terrier Mix

Fifi is one lucky girl since she was scheduled to be euthanized the next day simply because she didn't have an owner. Fifi was so scared and literally crawled on her belly to us. Once out of the kennels she was such a happy girl that she began jumping up on us for us to pick her up. Although Fifi gets along with other dogs, she prefers that they do not come around her when she's sitting on your lap. Otherwise she likes to play with other dogs and is in love with Clos Du Bois (another Paw Placement dog). Those two run around playing with each other all day. She also loves kitties and will try to get them to play with her. She loves to be on your lap or lay next to you at your feet. Fifi would love a new home where they work from home or are home most of the time since she cannot get enough her humans. Children must be over the age of 10 years but she prefers an adult only home. She would be perfect for a retired couple. Fifi also needs a doggie door since she does not feel comfortable going potty on a leash. Fifi could live to be 15-20 years old and will need someone to commit to her for the rest of her years.
