Poodle/Maltese Mix

Fetzer found himself on the list to be euthanized the morning of 11/25/07. He had such a sweet temperment and we couldn't allow that to happen. Fetzer is really a sweet boy that gets along well with all dogs he encounters. Fetzer would probably enjoy being in a older or quiet home. Fetzer loves lounging in his doggie beds and is very low key yet loves his one on one attention and pets. Fetzer was in such bad shape when we got him. His fur was full of mats and his nails were curling up into his paws. He was so sweet and patient as we trimmed his nails and shaved him. When we got to his paws, you could tell that it hurt him, but he never bit and instead pulled his paws back and then looked up and gave a kiss. He has a joint condition that is well controlled through medication. It is possible that he may be able to discontinue the medication at some point.
