The story of Captain Jack is the same as so many stories about homeless cats. Abandoned. Scared. Starving. Yet still trusting of humans. You see, cats and dogs do not hold grudges. Their furry little hearts beat with love for our species. It never ceases to amaze me when an abuse, neglected, abandoned animal limps into my lap without question, even though the animal has only known cruelty or indifference at the hands of humans. Captain Jack is a wonderful animal who will bless any family of which he is a part. Despite his bad luck with humans in the past, one look into his big yellow eyes, and you can see his faith that someone will love him and keep him forever. He will do well in many home settings so long as humans are gentle as are other cats and dogs.
