Siamese Mix

An apartment complex in downtown Phoenix was scheduled for demolition. The day before the buildings were to be destroyed, the property manager contacted rescue groups, desperate because many cats had been left behind in the apartments by the previous residents. Paw Placement rescued 3 cats out of the 12 found one evening. We went from apartment to apartment, opening doors and rescuing cats and kittens who were frantic after having been left with little food or water for many days. The next day, the property manager called us. He did a final check of the apartments before the wrecking ball hit and found one more cat. She was hiding in a kitchen cabinet and had been left alone in the cold apartment for 16 days. Lavender was dirty, matted and starving. In a matter of days and after much grooming, Lavender is the beautiful cat she should be. She has gotten her purr back, eats like a horse, and her long coat is silky and smooth once again. Lavender has a very gentle personality and loves human company. She likes being around other felines and while we have not tested her with dogs, we are sure that she will live peacefully with canines after proper introduction. Paw Placement has proven to Lavender that her life is not disposable. Now we need you to be her final rescuer by providing a forever home where she may purr her heart out and look upon you lovingly with her gorgeous crystal blue eyes.
