Peter "Cottontail" is a very cute cuddly Dachshund who was rescued from a local shelter where he was very sick with Parvo, his Vet/foster mom nursed him back to health and he is ready to begin his new life as a playful happy healthy pup, we reccomend he go to a home with older children as he is a tiny little guy , Believe it or not at 4 months of age Peter IS potty trained/doggie door trained/puppy pad trained indoors, but he will need all the OTHER typical puppy training, and in the end you will have a very loving loyal Doxie to share your life with., Peter is also very fearful of big dogs so we will not consider adopters with big dogs no matter how friendly they are, but I guess if you were as tiny , (4.6 lbs)as Peter big dogs would probley intimidate you too !!!
