English Springer Spaniel

Freckles current owners are unable to keep him due to several life changes that have occurred. Freckles is a smart, kind and sweet puppy. He aims to please! He knows several commands such as ?sit?, ?fetch?, ?off? and ?come? to mention a few, but does have to be reminded of these at times. He loves to take walks and run. He can be a little shy and reserved when he first meets new dogs on his walks. He has enjoyed going to the dog park and running around. He is house broken and uses the dog door most often. He loves being outside in our large, fenced yard and comes in and out as he wishes during the day. He is most active when he first wakes up in the morning and then again in early evening. He likes to nap during the day. We have learned to place our small electronics, pillows and magazines out of his reach so he does not take them outside to play with, much like child proofing your home. He does get anxious when we leave the house, especially in the evening. At this time, he has his chew toys and bones as a distraction. If Freckles is going to be left alone more than a couple of hours he is crated. We cannot stress how much this dog loves to cuddle!
