Pistachio was found outdoors after his family moved and left him behind. He was very thin, scared and so dirty we weren't sure what color he was. He spent 2 months in foster care putting on weight and learning to trust humans again. Pistachio's best friend in his foster home was Black Jack, our very friendly black kitty in the adoption center. Sometimes the best teacher is another cat and Pistachio got his confidence back in no time. He LOVES to be held, and wraps his paws around your neck when you pick him up. Pistachio is also very fond of giving lots of head butts and prefers a lap to the cat bed. He was fostered with a dog and several cats, and he seems to prefer to company of other male felines. , Pistachio had a few frightening weeks and now he is ready for his own family.
