Blonde Chihuahua Mix
Penny was found pregnant near a canal south of Maricopa County, likely dumped there by her owners. The kind folks who live on the property took her in, helped her give birth, and found Paw Placement to take on this family and find them all loving forever homes. Penny has been a wonderful momma to her five pups, and will be ready to find her own forever home by July 2014. Penny is extremely skittish, clearly having had little experience with humans. With time and patience, she is learning to trust her foster family, accepting affection and praise with an extremely submissive demeanor. Penny does very well with calm energies, and currently adores her foster mom, teenage brother, and young sister. Penny needs time and consistency to build her confidence and show her that humans are friends to be relied upon and loved.
