Red Pomeranian/Chihuahua

Red is the dad in a family we found living in a yard at an abandoned house. When we found them, we immediately offered both mom and dad food and water, but Red sat back while mom ate, waiting until she'd had her fill. He clearly took his responsibility as caretaker seriously. Though well fed thanks to a kind homeless man, Red and his family were filthy and absolutely covered in ticks. It was clear Red had spent much of life outside, fending for himself, but he's quickly settling into the good life in his foster home. Red is crate trained, house trained, is good with dogs and is independent, eager to please and very affectionate. , Our vet believes Red is likely a mix of pomeranian and chihuahua, perhaps with a little corgi thrown in., We are now accepting adoption applications for this handsome boy.
