Leila who is a declaw cat came from a very bad situation when her owner died, and she was left with him for two days alone until someone found them. She was going to be sent to a kill shelter, and a neighbor stepped in and said she would keep her. Unfortunately, Leila didn't like the resident cats, then another neighbor stepped in and her male cat doesn't want anything to do with her. We also know it wasn't the greatest set up being in her first home from what we have learned.

Leila will be happier being the queen Torbie in her own home where she can thrive, and not have to share attention with another cat.  She loves human attention, and will ask to sleep with her human and even guests who come to visit.

Being a declaw cat Leila does use her mouth instead of her claws, but we are working on this with her. It is not uncommon for declaw cats to use their mouth instead of their claws.  Paw Placement is looking for a cat savy person who understand cats to allow her to unwind and thrive.

She is with a foster who keeps Leila in a separate room to the other resident cats, but we would love to see her in a home where she can explore her own domain.
