Kasper was surrendered to us by his devastated owner after life circumstances made it impossible to keep him. Kasper was purchased from a breeder as a puppy and has lived the very best life since. Kasper has been well-socialized, so he loves people and dogs, and is crate and house trained. He's been indifferent to the cats in his foster home, as well as toys and bones, but he LOVES to play with his furry foster siblings, big and small! This boy is nearly perfect and we are looking for the perfect home for him!

What is Kasper's perfect home? He needs a house with a yard, and an active owner who will, at minimum, provide daily walks and, ideally, provide hiking, running, biking, camping. Kasper is an energetic working breed who does not do well when he gets bored. Because he's bonded so quickly to his foster sister, we know he'd love a home with a playful female dog. He needs a home that will continue to crate him and continue to provide structure, consistency and boundaries before affection. Kasper watched his human sibling grow from a baby to a toddler, so we are confident he would do well in a home with babies and toddlers, as well (though foster mom is quick to remind us when he spins, he knocks into everyone!).

Kasper suffered from a bit of anxiety when we took him in - occasional spinning, panting - and, with consistent crate time, clear expectations and rules, and a schedule, it's improved immensely in his foster home.

Kasper is friendly, affectionate, sweet, energetic, eager to please, and unconditionally loving and loyal.
